Reinbeck's Fire & Rescue Omelet Breakfast will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Reinbeck Memorial Building.  They will be serving omelets, hash browns, toast & beverages.  The cost is $12 per person.  Children 5 years and under eat FREE!  Come support your Volunteer Fire & EMS Service.

There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, March 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Reinbeck Memorial Building.  Appointments can be made at redcrossblood.org.

Reinbeck citizens can bring your junk items to Cooley Sanitation at 307 Main Street on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to noon for disposal.  Rain date is Saturday, April 19, 2025 as the same time.  Cooley's will pick up junk from your property for a fee of $35 per load.  Items must be placed outside the house or garage.  Please call Cooley's at 319-404-1870 before Friday, April 11, 2025 to set this up.

Disposal fees are as follows:

White Goods $20 per unit - washers, dryers, A.C. units, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, water heaters, water softeners, furnaces, dish washers, & humidifiers.

White Goods $15 per unit - dehumidifiers, light ballasts, & microwaves.

Office Equipment $5 per unit - monitors, printers, and copiers.

Tires, liquids, yard waste, garbage, batteries, and construction project materials are not acceptable items.
