The Reinbeck Water Department is asking for property owners’ assistance as the department works to update its records of water service lines. A service line is the connection between the water distribution pipes in the street and the water meter in a customer’s home or business. An updated citywide inventory is required under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s recently revised Lead-Copper rule. Residents are encouraged to complete the survey, regardless of the age of their home or business. Thank you for your help in this required project.
The City of Reinbeck now offers you the convenience of accessing your utility account and paying your monthly utility bill online! You can enroll in autopay, get electronic bills, and manage your account 24/7 online. Sign up today by clicking on the button below. You will be directed to the FrontDesk Gworks website where you will set up your account and password. There will be a fee for using ACH or credit card payments. This fee does not go to the city but goes to the processing bank. All current ACH customers must transition to FrontDesk ACH payments by the end of 2022. You can also drop off your payment at City Hall or mail it.
Water meters are read each month and billed monthly on the last day of the month. Payments are due by the 20th of each month. Billing cycles are from the 16th of the month to the 15th of the next month. All customers are required to fill out a Utility Application and are required to submit a $100 deposit with the application. The deposit is kept on your account until the account is closed. Your full deposit will be returned if your account is in good standing.
